All Natural Skin Care

Sourced From Montana Ingredients

Who We Are

Hi, we’re Skylee and Jaden! We’re fifth and sixth generation Montanans homesteading in the mountains of Northwest Montana. We’re passionate about regenerative agriculture and making a positive impact on our environment. We are thinning our forest to create silvopasture for our sheep, and using the timber we harvest from the land to build an off grid log cabin. We weren’t born into this life, in fact, we both grew up in normal suburban homes, but realized that is not the life we want for ourselves, or for our children. Although this life is not easy, it is certainly the most fulfilled either of us have been. We are doing our best to live the most healthy, and natural lives possible. We have discovered that this goal is not as easy as we think it should be. That’s why we started this company; to provide all natural, limited ingredient skincare products, using locally sourced ingredients, to those who care about what they put on their skin.

Our Ingredients

-Goat Milk- Fresh from our homesteads Nigerian Dwarf Goats-

-Beef Tallow- Sourced from a local ranch In Northwest Montana-

-Raw, Unfiltered Honey- World award winning honey from Treasure State Honey in Central Montana.

-Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils-

-Natural Colorants- Clays and activated charcoal-

From the mountains of northwest Montana, we started Rocky Mountain Traders because we believe labels should be easy to read and we should know what all the ingredients are that go into the products that we use. We Believe in supporting and strengthening our local community which is why we source as many of the ingredients for our products as we can locally. We use beef tallow from a local ranch in Northwest Montana, and raw unfiltered honey from a bee keeper in Central Montana. What you put on your skin matters, and our goal is to make the best possible products with locally sourced ingredients, for a difference you can feel.

Parabens

Most companies use fragrances to scent their soap. These fragrances can contain a number of chemicals such as phthalates and even formaldehyde which may cause a plethora of health issues. Moreover companies don’t have to tell you what’s in these fragrances because it’s considered a trade secret. Read more here.

Artificial Fragrances

Such as petroleum based dyes and mica powders are commonly used in the skincare industry to color products. Mica powders contain compounds such as titanium dioxide, and iron oxide. Although the risk of cancer from these compounds are low, why put these on your skin when better alternatives exist.
