It all began with a little extra goat milk

Skylee grew up with cystic acne for years. She tried everything: The hard stuff, the natural stuff, and everything in between.
In their search for clean skincare, they found companies keeping secrets, hiding the truth and trying to trick their customers. They realized that if they wanted transparency and traceable, clean ingredients, they we're going to have to make it.
Skylee had been given some extra goat milk from a neighbor, and then it clicked.
"We're going to make soap!"

Finding a Miracle
Once they removed all of the toxic products from their routine and only used their goat milk soap, things started to change.
Skylee’s skin that had been riddled with acne and scarring for 7 years, finally began to clear up.
They started giving it to friends, family, and others with similar issues, and they had the same result.

The Vision
They took a leap of faith, & started a business to share this with others. To make the best products they needed to be traceable, and sourced as close to home as possible.
Since then they’ve developed relationships with local farms and ranches in Montana where they source all of their beef tallow, raw honey, beeswax and emu oil.

They had a vision for their skincare company that was more than just skincare products.
They wanted their business model to support American manufacturing, and to preserve the dying local agriculture industry.
There's plenty of other skincare companies out there, but we felt called by God to do things a little different and create this one.
That's how Rocky Mountain Traders was born.

Our Movement
Rocky Mountain Traders is more than just a skincare company. We take pride in knowing that our locally sourced ingredients are among the best out there, and that our business model puts money back into our local community and keeps ranchers ranching.
We are proud to be a company that values and supports domestic manufacturing, even when thats not always best for the bottom line.
We believe in:
Products that start on farms, not in labs.
Labels that you can pronounce, and don't require a PHD to understand.
Buying food from neighbors, not the big box stores whenever possible; It's not just about food, it's about relationships.
Healthy living, whether thats eliminating toxic skincare products from your bathroom, or buying regeneratively raised food from your local producer.
We believe in community.
