Regenerative Management
Is a method of managing animals and stewarding land that prioritizes soil, plant and animal health, with the goal of improving land productivity, and maximizing nutrient density of the animal.
our foundation
Rotational Grazing
We rotationally graze setting up temporary paddocks with electric fence, and moving our sheep every two days. This system encourages them to eat a variety of plants, which is an essential part of their nutrition.
It also gently aerates the soil, and feeds it with carbon from trampled plants, and nitrogen from droppings. Then the pastures rest for a year or more, allowing for stronger regrowth and increased productivity.
This system allows animals to never worry about food, be safe from predators, and lets them live the way they were supposed to... On open pastures, eating grass.
our belief
More Than Land
Our system is a lot of work, but we believe it's more than worth it.
Land is a gift that is to be stewarded for the next generation, not to be exploited for short term gain. We don't own it, we're just preserving and improving this blessing for the ones to come after us.
